Works Manager Overseas

Large expanding PLC commercial offset printer (ISO certified) based in Nigeria require Works Manager familiar with production/engineering maintenance for both web and sheetfed printing and all aspects of print finishing to support on-going capital investment programme. The successful applicant would report the MD and be responsible for the day to day management of the plant. Initial contract term 1 year renewable.

• Correct supervision of workflow
• Coordination with sales and production
• Improvement in skill set of supervisory staff
• Improvement in quality of production
• Improvement of efficiency and reduction in waste

Current plant:-

• 2 x 4 colour web presses
• 1 x 2 colour web press
• 3 x B1 sheetfed presses (5,4 and 2 colour)
• 5 x Folding machines
• 5 x Muller Martini GST
• 2 x Sulby Binders
• 5 x Sewing machines
• Various guillotines, collators, ram punches, hard case book equipment.

Current staff employed in production and engineering is 190.
