Product Description

ECRM’s DPP1200 Tabloid Extra Toner-based Digital Production Press.  Ideal for short run production, this digital press is capable of producing high-quality business cards, posters, brochures, magazine covers and much more.  The system is seamlessly driven with ECRM’s RIPMate plus and WorkMates Software Solutions providing offset screening and quality. Print short-run commercial print jobs…brochures, business cards, menus, covers, posters, tent cards, etc, with very fast turnaround…Supplement your current print offerings with an affordable digital press with an excellent cost per page.

The DPP 1200 offers very low toner cost per page and a defined cost of operation due to user replaceable modules. Without the burden of click charges and mandatory service contracts, the printer has a clear indication of cost of production and the profit to be generated for each print job.

The DPP 1200 is driven by the industry standard, ECRM RIPMate plus, based on Harlequin RIP technology. The same workflow can produce work for the digital press or conventional offset work. The printer can manage jobs through a single workflow opting at the end for either digital or offset output. This means that any existing ECRM RIP can be upgraded to work with the DPP 1200. Don’t replace your workflow. Upgrade it to include a digital print solution. Staff won’t need to learn and manage a new workflow. The printer can keep a single RIP up to date without having to upgrade multiple RIP’s to keep up with industry standards.

The DPP 1200 with ECRM RIPMate plus uses conventional offset screening up to 175 lpi. Standard ICC profiling tools can be used to create correlated colour between digital and offset output. The DPP 1200 output can be used as a proof for jobs which will be printed on a offset press.
